(RADIATOR) After rpm install error when starting daemon

We are evaluating Radiator on SLES 9.
After installing the rpm package we issue the command:
/etc/init.d/radiator start
and get the following message
Starting Radiator:    /usr/bin/radiusd/sbin/start-stop-daemon:  (null): 
Bad address.

Who has any idea what is wrong ?
