Hello,
Some days ago, I reported a problem with Radiator binding to the monitor
port.
The thread is in
http://www.open.com.au/archives/radiator/2005-08/msg00089.html
Everything was running fine except that Radiator wasn't listening on the
monitor port. Debug didn't show up any problem.
I found out that if I ran Radiator in foreground, it listened in the monitor
port, but not when doing it in background.
We are using Solaris 9 and an Oracle Database, we had some problems with the
"ORA-03113:
end-of-file on communication channel" error, so we applied the ForkClosesFDs
parameter.
Well, this seems to be the problem, if I delete the ForkClosesFDs parameter,
Radiator listens in the monitor port even when running in background, so I
suspect there is a kind of conflict with this parameter and the monitor port
socket.
We should fix this asap, so any comments will be appreciated.
Regards.
