A quick question: Would exporting metrics be preferred over pushing
metrics even when Radiator already supports StatsLog FILE with JSON output?
It seems that JSON is not directly usable, but would require a separate
exporter too. Builtin exporter is certainly possible, but I thought I'd
check that you had noticed the already existing JSON support.
I see that Prometheus docs advocate a built-in exporter, for example,
for storing 'up' metric directly based on queried instance responses.
We are open to any options and I'd be interested in helping you with
this. Most likely the best option would be to include the support
exporter directly in Radiator for easier use.
Another/additional option would be to add an exporter in goodies for
processing the existing StatsLog output. In either case configuration
examples could go to goodies too.
Thanks,
Heikki
