Hello Heikki.
Just now we have another delay issue, and we have checked that the delay
is in the queue. The numbers of Recv-Q queue are as follows :

When there is "no delay" the numbers of the queue are between 0 and 3000.
So it is clear that the queue is delaying the requests. From the
"simpliClient.pl" I added a TIMESTAMP for the moment it sends the Request
and when I see the reception in the debug from Radiator I also see the
delay. Please check this :

Thu Nov 22 12:32:26 2012 781959: DEBUG: Packet dump:
*** Received from 64.76.154.202 port 57017 ....
Code: Access-Request
Identifier: 0
Authentic: <11>p<255><139><28><132><188><144><180><222><152>.<186>_M<26>
Attributes:
        User-Name = "5555848118 at mydomain.net"
        Service-Type = 18
        NAS-Port = 0
        NAS-IP-Address = 64.76.154.35
        cisco-h323-remote-address = "1353598345.50094 -- Thu Nov 22
12:32:25 2012"

The packet was received at 12:32:26.781959 and it was send at
12:32:25.50095, so there is 1,28 secs of delay in the queue.
I don't see any unusual logs in the Radiator. WE have a normal rate of 30
to 35 request per second but it grows near 50 request per second when the
delay start.
So. We have One instance of Radiator to attend several NAS and the
configuration file it has 43 different Handlers (Could this be the cause
of the delay in the Radiator?). Could be a good practice to separate this
instance in 4 or 5 instances with less Handlers?. As you mention the
sockets are per instance, isn't?. Or it is better to have another server
running the instantes?
Can you give me some hint of optimization?

Hope you can help me here.
Best Regards,
Ricardo.-
