(RADIATOR) Re: FW: Radius

I'm with the original group that bought the Radiator License I
believe; the group being Optus Internet Engineering. We bought the
license probably > 5 years ago.

I believe in the past other parts of Optus (Optus Business, etcc)
approached Open System Consultants Pty Ltd and were told to just
re-use the existing license; you guys turned down money?

Radiator is now deployed in a large number of places internally, my
view of the world can see at least 8 or so separate clusters of up to
6 machines each.

I'm not sure how the separation of Pty Ltd's affects this license; for
example I'm employed by Optus Administration Pty Ltd, as I believe
most/all staff (including Alphawest) are, but I think somehow my team
might be operating as a part of Optus Internet Pty Ltd. though we've
now been moved into a "Consumer" CFU (whatever that means).

My opinion, and that of the people around me, is that Optus has gotten
fantastic value out of the software/license and for the price (<$10k?)
it's fully worth supporting a fine Australian company and software
tool by buying another license.

But it's not my budget :-)

We haven't paid for any support for years; does that mean we were not
entitled to recent versions of the software?
