Folks,

I am trying to add a 'Vendor'-specific attribute to a RADIUS reply to a
system that runs a freeradius proxy server (the 'vendor' and sytem in
question are the open source Roamnode project, raised on this list
previously).

However, I am seeing the following error from roamnode:

WARNING: Malformed RADIUS packet from host <my Radiator box>: Vendor
specific attributes do not exactly fill Vendor-Specific

Relevant portions of the config are:

<AuthBy FILE>
  Identifier roamnode
  Filename      %D/roamnode-users.txt
  NoCache
</AuthBy>

<Realm roamnode>
  AuthBy  roamnode
  AuthByPolicy ContinueWhileReject
  AccountingHandled
  AcctLogFileName %L/roamnode-detail.%m%y
  Description Roamnode login
  Maxsessions 2
  PasswordLogFileName %L/roamnode-passwd-log.%m%y
  RejectHasReason
  SessionDatabase
</Realm>

And of the dictionary:

# Roamnode

VENDORATTR 4363 Bristol-RNET 5 string

Typical entry from the user file, roamnode-users.txt:

markoleary at cigmr        User-Password = *********
                        Bristol-RNET = cigmr,
                        Framed-Protocol = PPP,
                        Service-Type = Framed-User

Any help much appreciated.

M.
