(RADIATOR) forking proxy

hi - has anyone got any comments or experience on the success of using a
radiator radius proxy that forks for every request.

the proxy will not itself talk to LDAP and so the usual reason for not
allowing forking is removed. the only additional "computation" that the
proxy instances will do are cleansing of the return attributes from the
proxy target server.

my question is from the perspective of performance under high volume radius
traffic. my own feeling is that forking rapidly on a freebsd 4 system (and a
huge perl process at that) is not ideal.
