Hello Nick -

Neither of these things are possible as they don't happen on a 
per-request basis.

I suppose you could use a hook, but I would be very cautious about 
introducing race conditions and unexpected errors.

There are some example hooks in the file "goodies/hooks.txt".

together with a trace 4 debug showing what is happening?
