Hello Arnulfo -
This is saying that you are missing a library called: gdbm
ld: fatal: library -lgdbm: not found
This is probably because you do not have the development libraries installed.
You may find it easier to use Perl and the pre-built modules from ActiveState:
http://www.activestate.com
Note that whenever I use a Solaris machine, I always start with gcc from
Sunfreeware.com and I download and build from source Perl and everything
else. This is very time consuming, but at least then you know exactly what
you are working with.
BTW - it is also *much* easier to do this sort of thing on Linus, especially
in a testing environment, as everything is already present on the system.
