Hummm... check your clients definitions and your shared secret for
"localhost" again. I think this is normally related to a shared secret
problem.

Guys.. Im having problems with a simple radiator configuration.

I just installed 3.1 with a simple file.. like this:

LogDir          /var/log/radius
DbDir           /usr/local/radiator/etc
# Use a low trace level in production systems. Increase
# it to 4 or 5 for debugging, or use the -trace flag to radiusd
Trace           4

# You will probably want to add other Clients to suit your site,
# one for each NAS you want to work with

include %D/clients.cfg
include %D/realms.cfg

realms.cfg file:

<Realm testing.com>
        AuthByPolicy    ContinueUntilAccept
        RewriteUsername s/^([^@]+).*/$1/
        <AuthBy FILE>
                Filename %D/users
        </AuthBy>
</Realm>

users file:

akrall  Password="akrall"
        Service-Type = Framed-User,
        Framed-Protocol = PPP,
        Framed-IP-Netmask = 255.255.255.255,
        Framed-Routing = None,
        Framed-MTU = 1500,
        Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobson-TCP-IP

Problem is that no matter what you do... I always get a bad pw:

[root at prepaid etc]# .../radpwtst -s localhost -secret Inter.net -user
HYPERLINK "mailto:akrall at testing.com"akrall at testing.com -p akrall
-delay_time 5 -noacct -trace
