Hello Peter -

The best way to do this is with Handlers:

# define Handler for accounting alives

<Handler Acct-Status-Type = Alive>
	<AuthBy INTERNAL>
		AcctResponse ACCEPT
	</AuthBy>
<Handler>

<Handler ....>
	.....
</Handler>

Note that you should not mix Realms and Handlers in the same configuration 
file, so if you are currently using Realms you should convert them to 
Handlers.
