Hello Rohan -

It is normally the Access-Accept that is returned in response to an Access-Request that carries any authorization reply attributes.

In general, the NAS will only send an Accounting-Start once the session is up.

That said however, we have seen strange NAS gear that behave differently, but its quite rare.

As usual you will need to do some testing to verify correct operation.

Bruno is right though when he says that Radiator can be configured to only bind to an authentication port.
