We are pleased to announce that Radiator now supports HOTP (HMAC One Time
Password) authentication.

HOTP is an open standard (RFC4226) for generating and authenticating one-time
passwords. The HOTP standard is one of the authentication standards required
by OATH.

Initiative for Open Authentication (OATH) is an industry-wide
collaboration to develop an open reference architecture using open
standards for adoption of strong authentication.

The new Radiator AuthBy SQLHOTP module stores HOTP token data in an SQL
database, along with user name, token secret, counters etc. Sample Radiator
configuration file and SQL database schema are supplied, but the module can
be extensively configured to suit many other schemas and configurations.

Support for HOTP is included in the latest Radiator 4.,4 patch set, which is
available by download to current maintenance contract holders and evaluators.
