We are pleased to announce the release of support for RSA Authentication
Manager 7.1 in Radiator.
AM7.1 adds a number of interesting new features, and combines some features
that were part of other RSA products. AM7.1 now supports:
Token-based two-factor authentication.
Soft Tokens.
Static Passwords
OnDemand (random passwords delivered by SMS or email)
Security Questions (user specified question/answer)
Active Directory integration
LDAP integration.
Multi-Platform support, including Linux, Windows, Solaris etc.
Much more....
OnDemand replaces the earlier RSA Mobile product, allowing tokenless one-time
passwords delivered by SMS or email.
The new Radiator AuthBy RSAAM module supports RSA AM7.1 and later. Supports
PAP, GTC, OTP, PEAP-GTC, TTLS-PAP etc. Supports all AM7.1 authentication
methods.
Importantly, the new AuthBy RSAAM module runs on all platforms
supported by Radiator, and does not require the Authen-ACE4 module that was
previously required, easing installation and platform migration issues.
AuthBy RSAAM therefore obsoletes AuthBy ACE and AuthBy RSAMOBILE. However,
they will continue to be supported for some time yet.
The latest Radiator patch set contains the intial release of the AM7.1
support, and will be part of the next full Radiator release. Sample
configuration files are included.
