Hello Edward -
This is undoubtedly a typo in the record in the file referenced by
the AuthBy FILE clause.
I would normally expect to see something like this "Auth-Type =
whatever".

NB:
Have you read the reference manual ("doc/ref.html")?
Have you searched the mailing list archive (www.open.com.au/archives/
