(RADIATOR) Account lockouts or disregards using Radiator

Hi Folks,
 
Has anyone configured Radiator to count the amount of failed authentications
per time period, then disregard any further authentication attempts from
that username, or 'Calling-station-id'  if it exceeds a set amount?  E.g.
If there are 10 failed authentications in a 1 minute time period from user
X, then ignore further requests from that user X for 30 minutes, or send a
notification to an administrator to lock an account.
 
I would imagine that this could be done with some very creative Perl hooks.
Only problem is...I'm not a Perl programmer. 
 
Radiator has been working so well for us over the last 6 or so years, that
I'd hate to have to investigate other server options just to gain this
functionality.
