(RADIATOR) LDAP

Hallo,
I have a problem when Radiator is authenticating against our LDAP-Server 
(iPlanet).
In our LDAP passwords are stored in plain text and marked with {clear}.
But the Radiator doesn't eliminate the {clear} (I used Authby LDAP2) and 
authentication failes. (if I type in the password as {clear}password 
authentication is successfull.)
I currently wonder if this is a problem with our LDAP or Radiator as our 
Cisco ACS Radius has no such problem with our LDAP.
Can I tell Radiator to eliminate the "{clear}"-token ?
