It does not work for me either, and the problem seems to be that 
www.open.com.au resolves to a wrong IPv6 addresss.  My firefox prefers 
IPv6 and the resulting ICMPv6 error message causes it to stop trying 
further.  The result is a blank space.  Could this be the cause?

I have already notified open.com.au DNS contact.
