(RADIATOR) Recommendation on Retransmissions?

hi list,

	based on Radius (Remote Access *Dial In* User) protocol feature
set retransmission was designed in the protocol to save user from the
agony of subsequent dialup attempts.. it served very well!

	now the question in ADSL networks where there is no dialup
involved (speaking from Radius background of 56k dialup) what if i don't
even use any Retransmissions.

	the most i can think of is, when for some reasons the packet
get lost the user needs to do a second attempt.

	any comments?
