(RADIATOR) NASIDENTIFIER

Hello Hugh & Mike,

I am having a problem with the NASIDENTIFIER and removing entries
from the RADONLINE table.

The NASIDENTIFIER and NASPORT combination would work splendidly if
the NASIDENTIFIER was the string given by the NAS. Inside the RADONLINE
table the NASIDENTIFIER becomes the NAS_IP_ADDRESS.

According to RFC2865 ---

"This Attribute contains a string identifying the NAS originating
the Access-Request. It is only used in Access-Request packets.
Either NAS-IP-Address or NAS-Identifier MUST be present in an
      Access-Request packet."

Many NASs use arrays of servers with different IP #s and different
FQDNs. The authenticating machine could very well be different than the
machine that sends the disconnect information. The one thing in common is
the NASIDENTIFIER. Since the ports are unique accross machines the
combination of NASIDENTIFIER and NASPORT fulfills the criteria for
deleting a user from the RADONLINE table.

We are currently using just USERNAME to clear the table.
Unfortunately we have many users that have more than one simultaneous
connection and there lies the problem. When logging off, all entries
are removed from the table.

I am definately not an expert on this stuff so cue me in if I am
totally off base here.

Thankz again in advance for that wonderful support you guys
produce.
